More than once a researcher has posed the question of whether or not zero failures were possible. There is no end of people commenting to the negative. I was one of a group responding that it may not be possible, but that is where we must set the bar. I am glad to see here that Vince Lombardi agrees with my side. If you engineer a number below 100% as an acceptable goal, how much lower will you accept? The only way to see how far you can reach is to aim for the very top. Only then then will you know that you gave it your best. Thanks Mr. Lombardi.
