On August 23, 1981, when it acquired these frames, Voyager 2 was 2.7 million kilometers (1.7 million miles) from the planet. In general, C-ring material is very bland and gray, the color of dirty ice. Color differences between this ring and the B-ring indicate differing surface compositions for the material composing these complex structures. More than 60 bright and dark ringlets are evident here; the small, bland squares are caused by the removal of reseau (reference) marks during processing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. ~ Albert Einstein<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":999,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[21],"tags":[26],"class_list":["post-1043","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-quotes","tag-learning"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.fmsreliability.com\/publishing\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/1043","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.fmsreliability.com\/publishing\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.fmsreliability.com\/publishing\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.fmsreliability.com\/publishing\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.fmsreliability.com\/publishing\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=1043"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"https:\/\/www.fmsreliability.com\/publishing\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/1043\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":1342,"href":"https:\/\/www.fmsreliability.com\/publishing\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/1043\/revisions\/1342"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.fmsreliability.com\/publishing\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/999"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.fmsreliability.com\/publishing\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1043"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.fmsreliability.com\/publishing\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=1043"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.fmsreliability.com\/publishing\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=1043"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
