Structure-borne ultrasound has become a must have technology for maintenance and reliability professionals. It has become a widely used and accepted tool by reliability professionals, specifically vibration analysts, to complement their use of vibration analysis to monitor rotating equipment. One way that ultrasound complements vibration analysis is through its use for slow speed bearing inspection and monitoring. This presentation will show how ultrasound can be applied and used for slow speed bearing monitoring. Sound file examples will be used to show what an ultrasound user can expect to see and hear when it comes to slow speed bearing monitoring.

Takeaways
1. Learn how ultrasound can be used for bearing condition monitoring.
2. Attendees will learn how ultrasound can complement vibration analysis by monitoring slow speed bearings with ultrasound.
3. See real world examples both visually and through the use of recorded ultrasound sound files of slow-speed bearings.
